Franklin Library 100 Greatest Masterpieces of American Literature

The Franklin Library 100 Greatest Masterpieces of American Literature series consists of 100 leather bound titles, and was published by The Franklin Library from 1976 to 1984. Every book in the 100 Greatest Masterpieces of American Literature series was bound in genuine leather with 22k gold accents and gilt page edges, complete with a sewn in bookmark.

This Franklin Library series features novels, poetry collections, and short story collections by some of the most renowned American authors throughout history, including Henry Adams and Emily Dickenson. This leather bound collection is printed on archival paper and makes a great addition to any library — and one that can be passed down to future generations.

As Franklin Library closed in 2000, all titles in the 100 Greatest Masterpieces of American Literature series are out of print and only available via secondary sources, such as antique and collectible booksellers, and via direct sales such as ebay.
